Ezra International has been registered in Ukraine as a humanitarian aid organization since 1996.

Ten years ago, Bruce Elliott came to Ukraine and saw the plight of young homeless children and subsequently became a part of Ezra as the Director of Children's Work. As Bruce says, "these children have changed my life".

We see ourselves as an "enabling organization" helping children in whatever ways we can, including raising funds for the work and assisting and encouraging Ukrainian children's workers in what they are doing. The goal is to be able to help as many children as possible.

Ezra International is out of Florida. In Kiev we have a small team. Tolik is our head children's worker and a very compassionate, insightful man with children - fondly called Dadya (Uncle) Tolik by a huge number of children. Vera is currently both studying at university to become a child advocate and working with children. Leanne was originally a long-term volunteer from Canada with us and continues to do some ministry along with being a wife and fostering two Ukrainian children. Our work is augmented by volunteer teams who come mainly in the summer.
